We publish evidence-based policy analysis from journalists, academics, economists, and professionals. Perspectives from across the political spectrum are welcome — what matters is the quality of argument and evidence.
Guidelines
- Evidence-based. Claims supported by data, research, or verifiable sources.
- Policy-focused. Canadian public policy — economy, housing, immigration, healthcare, defence, trade, environment, technology, education, justice.
- 800–2,500 words. Tight arguments. Longer pieces must justify the length.
- Original work. Not published elsewhere. Adapted academic papers welcome.
- Disclose conflicts. Financial or institutional interests in the policy area.
